There is plenty of untold futuristic stories within the African culture from the dance to the traditional clothes, and Kkoolo’s Buyi Philip, a many of many talents, seeks to explore and express them. As Africans, we need to learn how to embrace who we truly are: we cannot always want to be like “them“, to talk like “them” to dress like “them“. BADASS! One word for the Kkoolo SS 17 Collection showcased at Kampala Fashion Week. While everyone knows of my love for edgy, graphic fashion, Kkoolo’s streamlined suits, bold graphic printed kimonos and generally this whole collection made me feel some special kind of way!
